  5.  @robertsmith9810  All those jobs require large groups of people relocating, as the jobs and unemployment are not in the same areas, let alone regions. Many require skillsets for which people have no training. Training requires finance and time, said time often taken from the skilled to get the unskilled up to speed, which is counterproductive. The job of govt is to foresee these blips and put measures in place to make the transition less uncomfortable, less costly and more effective, the goal being to achieve as smooth a transition as possible. The Conservative party spent their first couple of years dismantling the structures put in place to deal with these problems by the Labour party. Or has that escaped your notice?

  11. Most folk would suffer cognitive dissonance, if forced to face the truth. The fact of the matter is world leaders collectively agreed to a plan of action, in the event of any possible pandemic occurring, which would see steps taken by every country to eradicate any virus within two or three weeks, a couple of months at most! This was in 2019. Not one single country's leaders followed the plan and, in fact, appear to have done the exact opposite every step of the way! There is a docu, here on YouTube, called Agenda 21, that covers those involved, as they held these meetings and the decisions reached and agreed. It's about 1hr long, but has also been posted in three shorter segments.

And there's Porton Down, less than four miles away, which was recently, at the time, given a £60 million donation by the US govt! Double strange, considering we were supposed to be decommissioning all these deadly substances, but, then again, the UK and US, along with a great many other countries, signed an agreement, in 1959, to get rid of these deadly substances and not to produce any more, yet the US FOI act encouraged research, upon which it was discovered both the US and UK had been lying through their collective teeth.
