The nazi presence in ukraine is well documented, prior to, during and after WWII, as they were part of the German SS Waffen divisions with a notorious reputatiom for cruelty and war crimes against both Russians and Poles! On Germany's defeat, the ukrainians surrendered to the British, rather than face Russian retribution. Some 8,000 of them were shipped to the UK, more to it's Commonwealth, such as Oz and N.Z. and the US took the rest. Let's not forget, 14,000 innocent, non combatant, Russian speaking ukranian civilians were slaughtered by tbe ukraine govt, employing their azov battalions from 2014, until the current conflict began and the rest of ukraine was either a part of it or stood by and watched it happenp, well aware of what was going on.
