The same was said, in the West, about six years ago, when Russia said it had successfully tested it's first hypersonic missile. It's now accepted these missiles travel about Mach9. Russia offered to share the technology with the US, but Trump refused. They're still trying to develop their own, but are at least three years away. By the time they launch their first success Russia will have developed a defence system and likely have developed second generation missiles that travel further and faster. Or China will. Russia made them the same offer and China, not being stupid, accepted. Russia has never been in the habit of claiming technology it doesn't have. The US stands to lose billions, because no country will want to buy an obsolete missile. Only one of them is telling the truth. My money is on Russia.

Not to worry. Bellendsky passed a law on 24th December, 2021 that declares all necessary organs will be removed from Ukrainazi corpses to be sold for transplant, whether the dead person wanted to be a donor or not! No wonder so many of them fled, as refugees, to other countries.

Currently, they are the only two countries that have them. The US is still at least three years away from successfully testing their own version, by which time I suspect Russia or China to have developed a defence and, possibly, have moved on to the next generation of missiles.

The same was said about Russia's thermobaric missiles and their hypersonic missiles, you'll recall. Seems they don't make claims on technology that isn't true. I expect, once the dust has settled on this skirmish, that'll you'll find this Himars-buster listed in Jane's at a reasonable price. The US will be glum, I don't doubt, that no country wishes to purchase their obsolete missiles. 😂😂😂

Time will tell. If independent sources, such as Amnesty International, verify fatalities and injuries have decreased, then it's a safe bet the Russians have the technology they claim, in which case the US taxpayers are going to pay the price, as Himars will become obsolete, as no potential customers will be interested in buying outdated armaments. Look what happened to the Saudis, when they bought the supposedly invincible 'iron dome' from the israhellis, only to find the Iranians fired missiles right through it, destroying the Saudi refinery, costing them billions in lost revenue. The only missiles that cannot, currently, be intercepted are hypersonics, which both Russia and China posses. Putin offered the technology to the US, but Trump flatly refused, saying the US had it's own programme...which is apparently still about three years away from realisation.

That was about five, maybe six years ago. China successfully tested their's two years ago. The US is still at the drawing board. The psychological factor of bettering the Himars missiles is enormous. Warfare is warfare. The US has a choice...keep providing Himars and, if Russia speaks true, give Ukrainazi every last one of them, because they are now obsolete and no country will want to waste money buying them. If Russia is lying they will be quickly caught out. Personally, I have a feeling they have found the solution, but we'll have to wait and see.

The channel owner can no more explain this than they could explain Russia's hypersonic missiles, which the West claimed was bullshit, until the test missiles were clocked at around Mach9. Russia, if this claim is true (and I see no reason to doubt them). is hardly likely to provide the West with an explanation, which could then circumvated the defence system they have devised, as that, pardon the pun, would be like shooting themselves in the foot. Trump stupidly turned down Putin's offer to share the hypersonic technology. China didn't and are the only other nation to own their own missiles. For all we know this could be the brainchild of China, a favour returned, so to speak.

@Bob Slydell US are still at least three years away from producing their own working model of hypersonic missiles. Trump was a fool to turn down Putin's offer to share the technology. China wasn't, so are the only other country in possession of the missiles.
