  2. Hmmm, Novichok. Skripals...in England. Just over three miles, in fact, from Porton Down, a Ministry of Defence lab that specialises in NBC 'substances' for want of a better word, which the US FOI revealed had violated the international agreement signed by the leading countries, in 1959 to cease proliferating these substances. It seems the UK and US, even though they'd signed the agreement, decided it didn't apply to them. The UK would cook something up, then pass the info on to the US and vice-versa. Everyone assumed the lab, being Ministry of Defence, was funded by the UK govt. Not so. The US govt had given a £60 million donation to the lab some time before the Skripal case occurred. Life is full of surprises.
