  1. Looks more like sunlight shining down through a hole in the cloud cover, highlighting two torrents/streams of rain.

  2. It's not a tower. A hole has developed in the cloud cover, allowing a limited amount of rain to fall and the sun is putting a spotlight on it, nothing more, unless you have an overactive imagination, are a drama queen or have been religiously programmed.
