Labour did make a suggestion, which was ignored.
That how politics work.
Nobody listens to the losers, regardless of which party it is.
The winners won and assume every decision they make, thereafter, will be correct, besides, the opposition would take credit, if their suggestion was followed and turned out to be right and the party in power can't allow themselves to be seen to be listening to the opposition, much less following their advice.
They, therefore, play games with our lives.

You must have misheard.
He was NOT asked to resign!
It was subtlely suggested, he refused, so the '22 will find other means to make his position untenable, as legalities make sacking him impossible.
I agree, they are cheeky bastards, considering they have done worse, so are, at best, hypocrites, however, they were never as blatantly uncaringly as B(l)oJo(b), preferring to hide behind their sanctimonious masks.
Bottom line, he will cost the party the next election.
The longer he stays the more deep rooted the public mistrust will grow, but he knows they'll put all blame on him and his chums, omitting to state they condoned the scandals (how was it put..."time after time") only now intervening, when they finally accepted these events would remain in the public consciousness and lose the party the next election.
If there hadn't been this constant hue and cry he'd still be their blue-eyed boy, as they'd know the public were as big the fools the party took them to be.
He couldn't be subtle if he tried, it just isn't in his narcissistic makeup, so he has to go for the good of the party, they've decided.
I don't see a viable contender, amidst his doltish minions.
Dull Dorres, Tramadol Truss, Mangy Moggy?
All tainted through loyalty to B(l)oJo(b), besides, Moggy is about ready for a long overdue seat in the Lords.
While there is still time, someone will be feted, groomed and put forward, while msn goes into bullshit-overdrive mode to sell them as a compassionate alternative to the last callous monster that led the party.
Still, he'll make a tidy sum from his autobiography.

That was the plan.
Haven't you figured it out yet?
Three recessions in just the last twenty years alone, exacerbated by banks and big business refusing to pay taxes or reinvesting, unless at the cost of workers, ie tech replaces humans!
Each time banks and big business went to their pals and cohorts in Western govts to be rewarded in bailouts to the tune of trillions upon trillions for crashing the economies.
The 0.001% were getting even richer, while the 99.9% poor were getting poorer.
Those bailouts were being paid from the only source available...the public's hard earned cash.
The bailouts left public funds dangerously depleted, so govts borrow, passing on repayments at exorbitant and crippling interest rates to the public, along with rising prices for the cost of living.
The public were being robbed blind, expected to pay back the stolen money and to also pay the interest on the deal, in which they had no say!
Enough folk were getting wise to this scam that took place around every decade.
2000, 2008 and the current super-recession (so-called, because it is predicted to dwarf all previous recessions in history combined!) and govts knew this could not be explained away, never mind easily.
Enter covid-19.
It's real and it's lethal, only nowhere near as lethal as we're being told, which is why so many govts busied themselves stealing death rate figures from other fatal conditions, such as 'flu, pnuemonia, asthma, Altzeimers, MND, the list goes on...and on...
While folk are fearing for their very lives they are less apt to call a govt to task.
Each govt then throws a couple of trillion, not much more, at the virus.
When the financial cost is tallied you can bet your life those figures will be vastly inflated.
The books will be cooked, in other words.
This upcoming recession has arrived five years ahead of time.
More about that another day.
We have some extremely bleak times ahead of us.
We cannot rely solely on politicians to get us out of the quandry, as they were compromised centuries ago in Europe and moreso in the US.
This could very well be a step towards fulfilling the instructions inscribed upon the Georgia Guide Stones and publicly outlined by Jacob Rothschild in 2011, namely population control.
They set themselves a deadline of 2030 to annihilate seven billion souls from the face of the earth.
Who knows, it maybe being shifted up a gear?
1

1
-
Lmao.
That's how the 0.001% get richer, year on year, while the 99.9% poor folk become poorer.
Three bailouts in just twenty years to the banks and big business, leaving almost nothing in the public kitty.
Govt gives our hard earned cash to their pals, who pay no taxes, cream off all profits and never reinvest, unless it's for tech to replace humans!
Govt then borrows at exorbitant and crippling interest rates to pay for public services and our taxes and cost of living, yet again, rises.
It's the perfect scam, perpetrated about every decade.
The Icelandic govt and people agreed.
Jail the bankers and CEOs, so they did...all except two, who flew the coop.
Both Rothschilds.
Iceland, Interpol and (surprise, surprise) Russia, issued International arrest warrants for both.
I doubt any govt in the west will give them up.
It just one big thieving, corrupt family.

1
-
Nah, behind closed doors they were in total agreement.
The 0.001% in control of 99.9% of the world's wealth wanted more money, therefore were given more money.
That's what the bailouts, paid by every country in the West, to the banks and big business was all about.
The few trillions paid to cover the furlough wages, etc, is a drop in the ocean, compared to the trillions upon trillions paid in bailouts in the 2000 recession, the 2008 recession and the current recession we are just about to enter.
Covid-19 is genuine, however, it is not as lethal as we are being asked to believe.
Too many governments stole death rate figures from other diseases to inflate covid-19 figures, in order to scare the public and have them fearing for their lives, instead of interrogating why govts gave away the public money to organisations that don't pay taxes or reinvest into national economies.
The lack of taxes paid and failure to reinvest brings about recessions.
Basically, they cause a recession, then are given rewards for causing them by govts.
Too many people were beginning to question the corrupt Western system that allows this, so the covid-19 SCAMdemic was put into place!

@bertyaustin
Oh, berty, you couldn't be any further from the truth.
The UK public, in general, are led to believe we're the tail, whereas it's actually the other way around and folk are too busy focusing on the Smoke and Mirrors Show to pay any heed to what it's designed to hide.
In fact, take America, for example.
There's no such place or entity and hasn't been, since 1913!
You'd have to go all the way back to 1871 to see how that came about, though, and people would much rather use the internet for purposes other than research.
Trust me, we've been sold a dummy with the 'special relationship' drivel.

Aw, c'mon, Suzy, Big Pharma need to make a killing and you, going about, waking up the sheeple with irrefutable medical facts, are putting a spanner in their works!
How are these poor snake-oil salesfolk supposed to con the gullible?
Having said that, the halfwits on the post would suffer cognitive dissonance, en-masse, if they were even to consider researching a fraction of the bullshit they've swallowed over the years or decades.
I've been trying to enlighten similarly mentally challenged people for nigh on half a century.
It gets no easier.
It's the programming that besets them from cradle to grave, but it has become more intense over the last few decades.
I guess some of us are just more strong-willed, stubborn, determined not to fold and give in.
I expect you'll be presented with demands of proof of medical qualifications or employment in a lab, as it wouldn't dawn on them that the information is freely available on the internet, however, they'd be obliged to tap a few keys to access it and that's too much like hard work for the poor little mites...or the truth is just too frightening for them to face.
Lol.

This was the head boy trying to tell off the headmaster.
He knew, as did they, that he had to attend.
He knew, as did they, that they had no teeth.
He knew, as did they, that they wouldn't even so much as suggest openly that he resign.
They tried, in a roundabout way, but he took the piss out of them, telling them he didn't understand what they were getting at and they bottled it.
B(l)oJo(b) easily outwitted them, because they're cowards.
Besides, he probably has dirt on them that would make him look like a choirboy.
This was an exercise in futility and, I suspect, just another act in the Smoke and Mirrors Show to distract us from something else they'd prefer stayed hidden from us, just more of their devious games.

He's a politician/narcissist, what did you expect?
They're all the same, regardless of party.
Who, in their right mind, would dare to assume they knew how to run everybody's lives better than the people themselves?
It's just one facet of a narcissist's condition.
There's plenty of vids, here on YT, covering this fascinating subject.
The narcissists, however, are the lesser of the two political evils, the more scarier one being the socio/psychopaths.
Not all narcissists are socio/psychos, but all socio/psychos are narcissists.
The lunatics really do run what has now become the asylum and they're in their element.

@Sunrise9696-v2z
They're, as you say, no different from him, being cut from the same Eton cloth.
They backed him through every scandal, until now, as he was their best bet for another tory general election win.
The only reason they have withdrawn their support is not because of his decisions or behaviour, but because he can't win for them again and by sacrificing him they hope to fool the public into thinking the tory party was briefly taken over by B(l)oJo(b) and his chums, who don't represent tory values.
Sadly, there are far too many gullible morons that will buy this and vote them in again.
Stammer and labour should have been cashing in on all these events, even if they only went as far back as the pandemic scandals, but only in recent weeks has he actually grown a pair and started calling them out.
I've seen more life is a stale slice of bread than he's shown over the last two and a half years.

We could live the life of Riley, as you proposed, (although your sarcasm was based on ignorance of facts) if govt didn't keep bailing out their pals/sponsors/benefactors in the banks and big business with hard earned public cash, to the tune of £trillions upon £trillions, virtually emptying the public kitty in the process every time, then borrowing at exorbitant and crippling interest rates, which we repay via increased taxes (which the recipients of our cash never pay!) and rises in the cost of living.
Three bailouts in just the last twenty years, which you could have discovered with only a modicum of research, instead of talking out of your arse, thereby obliging me to point out your lack of critical thinking, being as you, unlike myself, are politically programmed, so are unable to figure out all politicians from both sides of the house are complicit in this scam that appears to occur with regularity at least to around periods of a decade or so.
Tf we aren't reliant on your financial acumen or we'd all be totally fcuked!
Go chew your crayons, son, before bed...off you go now and sleep tight.
Smfh.

Pity we keep giving £trillions upon £trillions to the banks and Big Business, yet tax them next to nothing if that, leaving the public kitty almost empty.
Pity our govts then borrow at crippling interest rates that mean our taxes go up, yet again, along with our cost of living, too!
Pity we don't jail them, like Iceland did.
Pity we've had three recessions in just the last twenty years alone!
Pity people aren't paying attention or they'd realise the govt, regardless of which party holds the reigns, does not serve the people, but is there to rubberstamp increased wealth for a very small group of people and are later rewarded with plum jobs in the banking and big business industries.
Pity so many politicians' families' businesses profit from lucrative govt contracts.
Pity we, the gullible public.
Lmao.

Correct, Suzy, but what exactly are they 'liaising' for and for whom?
They didn't directly request his resignation, even though, playing dumb, he said he didn't know what they were driving at.
They could have spelt it out, ie, the tory party wants you to gtf.
Or were they the ambassadors/kid's gloves approach for the '22, giving him advance warning that he was in for a bumpy ride and, even though they can't sack him, as they await next year's opportunity to promote another no-confidence vote, they can certainly make his position untenable, in the meantime.

Oh, he knows full well, but he wants them to openly show their hand without all the phoney niceties.
He wants them to bring the knife they're hiding into view, so he can play victim.
If he could he would, right this minute, make the '22 Committee a terrorist organisation. 😁
They didn' t say "Boo", while they thought he was in with a chance of winning the next election.
"Time after time..." (as their spokesperson put it), following scandal after scandal, they turned a blind eye, didn't give tuppence for the public's best interest and let him and his chums get away with it, yet the second they realise and finally accept he will lose them the election, they disown him and hang him out to dry.
He's highlighting their callous hypocrisy.
He's a clever bastard.
I imagine publishers will chew off each others' faces for the chance to be the one that signs him up for his autobiography. 🤪😂😂

Plenty of vids, here on YouTube, explaining how narcissists think.
Devious, dangerous, arrogant bastards.
Many gravitate towards positions of power...politics, police, crime, military.
Full blown pscho/sociopaths usual end up at the top.
Narcissism is a facet of their mental instability.
They're none of them fools, although it's usually their arrogance (over which they ultimately have no control) that brings about their downfall.
B(l)oJo(b) knows his position all too well.
Circumspection has never been his forte and he's too long in the tooth, too narcissistic to change.
This is just him being him to the best of his ability, because he doesn't know any other way and never has.
I expect, if left in position, he'll become much worse and so do the '22.
This public admonishment was solely to cover their own arses, as they have finally accepted he cannot win them another election, therefore is dispensable.
He's being publicly hung out to dry as a possible appeasement to the electorate, in a bid to distance the party from him.
They could have done that from the start, had they a decent bone in their collective, corrupt bodies, but chose not to do so, as he committed the cardinal sin of not committing these atrocities, but in being caught, bringing the entire party into the spotlight.
There is no remorse from them, only anger that they backed the wrong horse and an urgent need to fool the public into thinking they've changed.

Narcissists have a much higher opinion of themselves than anyone or any evidence to the contrary suggests.
They are never wrong...in their minds, ergo everyone else must be mistaken!
Think I'm kidding?
There's plenty of vids, here on YouTube, covering these ill begotten individuals.
Their mental imbalance includes the belief they are singled out by fate to fulfil a destiny above and beyond what anyone else could possibly comprehend, so must not be thwarted, under any circumstances.
Tell me that does not apply to every single politician and I will laugh at you.
We allow ourselves to be governed by the insane.
When they become full-blown, all out psychopaths (which they always were, but have reached the point they no longer feel the need to hide it) the public is astonished for some unfathomable reason.
The UK public, as a whole, has given him and his predecessors carte blanche to do what they like.
Naturally, they do exactly that.
In the last few decades all circumspection has been abandoned and blatancy is the order of the day.
I cannot see things changing much in the foreseeable future, other than them toning it back a bit for appearances sake.
Labour missed a golden opportunity, led by Starmer.
By the time of the next general election the tories will have buried this entire rotten fiasco and put themselves back into possible winning position, extending the one party only option.
The tories need rid of Johnson and labour need rid of Starmer to bring about any meaningful change.

@euanstewart1411
so, basically, you are scared shitless and have done no research on the inherent flaws contained within the current test being employed...the test in which the very guy who created the test highlighted said flaws and which the govt and it's agents deliberately chose to ignore!
You requested no sources of the OP, yet claim they have none.
????!
You requested no evidence and, again, claimed they had none.
????!
That's not how science works, but you are ignorant of these basic steps.
You then request the OP to shut up.
????!
I'm wondering if you pressed you fingers into your ears and la-la-la-lad a few times, as well, in an attempt to dispel the unpleasant truth from your conscoius mind?
Tell me, Euan, this lab in which you work...do your duties mainly comprise of sweeping up, emptying bins and, occasionally, making the boffins a cuppa?
I ask, because there appears to be no scientific curiosity in you.
Are you, in fact, possibly a cleaner in, say, a biscuit factory, part of your duties being to Mr Sheen the research lab worktops and sweep up crumbs, perhaps?
Smh.

@Jonathan_Doe_
He's a lot smarter in a devious manner, than many give him credit for.
For a start, he has you fooled into believing the buffoon act.
The party knew his track record.
Do you think they'd give the job to an idiot?
No, they gave it to the smartest, most devious among them with the most likelihood of winning them a general election.
He had the majority of the public eating out of his hand, which is why they were returned on a majority.
Why do you think he was fobbed off, initially, with the Foreign Minister's role?
They, running the show at tory HQ at the time, didn't trust the cunning bastard, so were trying to keep him out of the loop.
Didn't work, as you'll recall.
Even abroad, he was interfering, telling his chums in the media who was ballsing up what and how things would be run differently, if he'd been given that particular role.
He deliberately screwed up some foreign relations, leaving them with no option but to recall him.
Shortly afterwards he was leading the party.
Don't underestimate him.

Back in the day, pre 70s, the politicians, being cut of a similar but not the same cloth as the scam artists we are beset by today, were more subtle, due to possessing higher intelligence.
Nowadays, we are lumbered with clods with no understanding of finesse.
They unashamedly let bullshit splatter from their gaping, slack jawed mouths without refining it into a more acceptable form, due to them being dull-witted and also down to the public dropping it's standards.
We no longer see the guilty, unable to deftly parry a justifiable accusation aside, fall upon their sword.
This clumsy, dishonourable, modern shower brazenly ignore accusations outright without answer, bolt off on unassociated tangents or rely on narcissist defence gambit #101 and immediately project the accusation straight back at the accuser, in the hope those witnessing the exchange will, somehow, suffer a bout of amnesia and forget who is actually meant to be defending themself against the charge.
Sadly and all too often this is exactly what hsppens and the dolts supporting the guilty party actually manage to convince themselves their candidate was the one that made the accusation in the first place!
Sheer idiocy manifest.
This cardboard being in the vid is a typical example of such, evading, ignoring, then, in desperation, projecting his own failings onto his accuser.
Unfortunately, we have the govts we earned through our own inability or reluctance to call them to task long before this current abysmal state in proceedings was reached.
