  1. I see a lot of cognitive dissonance in these comments. We, around the rest of the world, watched with horror, as 9/11 occurred. What also occurred to many of us is that govts often employ acts of terror against their own people, in order to push new legislation limiting civil liberty through, hide any criminal activity they're probably going to have to answer for and as an excuse to wage illegal war on other countries. Umar Suliman sums it up nicely, in response to an OP comment by Guilt Tea four or five comments above the one we've all responded to here.
