Spaniard here. Tomorrow, you will have to go work, and your boss will still make unreasonable demands without giving you enough time or resources to achieve the demanded goal. Police is still going to fine you for stupid regulations no one asked your opinion about when they were released. Your bank and the IRS will still demand their share of your earnings (trust me in this), and your teenage children will be still ashamed to be seen with you in public and speak to you only when they need money. As far as I see it, nothing important will change........

@cezarstefanseghjucan Turning China into a worldwide manufacturer took (at least) 10 years and BILLIONS in investments. Reversing the situation would take at least the same........

@josephorduno8778 That was one of my first thoughts, too. It makes little sense to place tariffs onto products the US has actually no way to produce locally in enough numbers.........For example, if you put 10% tariff on PS5, but most of them are produced in China, Korea and Japan, you are basically screwing your own people.......First you have to make sure that US-fabrics can meet the local demand (don`t plan to export them, because other countries will also put a tariff onto your local production). Ironically, shifting worlwide to consuming localy-produced goods, may reduce the carbon-footprint of such goods, and help prevent climate change (a thing Trump seems not to care much about)

@user-kx6wl8hz8v But their effort has shown little results for now. You can`t built a powerfull army from the scratch in soem few years, and although thay have been making their homework in the last years, they themselves admit that they need at least 10 more years of continuos efforts and investments to reach their goal (becoming the most significant conventional army in Europe, and beeing able to face a russian invasion on their own, at least temporarely) The good thing, is that ALL political political parties, and 90% of the population supports this goal, and is willing to do the necesary sacrifices to achieve it.......but they are not there yet........

@MalevolentBite We all have emergencies, and sometimes you MUST take a credit because you NEED to purchase something, but don`t have the money (a car, medical treatment,or so) BUT, a PS5 or a 60`` wide TV are NOT something you need to survive.......depending on where you live and work, perhaps you can even do without a car........

@SwikingSwe True, BUT, the chinese CCCP basicaly don`t give a f*ck about its own people, as long as they think they can screw them and get away with it. Also, the chinese goverment, has represive tools at its dsposal to confront unrest raising form economic dificulties, that the US-goverment can`t even consider, because it would cause a revolution........ It`s like the people of Gibraltar trying to explain to me that my goverment is never going to close the border, because it would significally impact 15.000 direct employments on my country, and indirectly around 150.000 lives.........Dude my goverment DON`T GIVE A SH*T ABOUT THIS PEOPLE........and the oposition will even less, once they get to govern
