  1. Sadly, you get what you pay for. If you pay low wages, most of the law-enforcement officers will be people that simply couldn`t do better, plus some vocational ones. Add poor training, equipment and understaffed sectors and offices, and you get a disaster waiting to happen......... Holding on to strict physical standarts wouldn`t hurt either. But why am I preaching? Surely you and your husband know this already......
