This offensive gives me "battle of the bulge"-vibes...... Some of the russian conscripts out there are doing surprisingly well......Also, if you hold out your position, till you run out of amunnition, and have to surrender, it`s not your fault, it`s your commanding officers one, for failing to make you retreat before you were encircled....... The russian clerks and cooks are giving a hell of a battle...........

As long as Ukraine has the control of the battelfield after every encounter, they can retrive their "destroyed" gear, and repair it (best scenario) or use it for spare parts. Although this could be a logistic nightmare if they have to tow it all the way back to Poland (for mayor reparations), probably a good chunk of the "destroyed" gear, will be eventually fixed and redeployed. The lost MANPOWER on the other hand (the ones KIA or seriuosly wounded) is truly irreplaceable. Manpower-shortage is Ukraines biggets weakness......the russians know it, and are deliberately targeting it.

@JohnWilson-i7c For beeing conscripst? Surprisingly well! I expected them to drop their weapons and flee masivelly. Yet, they are mostly holding their positions, till they get outmanouvered and have no more amunition (wich is their commanders fault, not that of an 18 yo boy who fullfilled his duty). Already forgotten about the village held by clerks and cooks?

@A.B.5KRVw The russians are not happy about loosing territory, but don`t hesitate to concede it, if they think that the cost of holding it exceeds the benefits.......... They are playing a totally diferent game, trying to destroy ukraines manpower, while keeping theirs as intact as possible

@JohnGrigg-gz9gm The first one in the line of people NOT wanting to enlist are the Oligarchs and their families, so why should the rest want to? I know I wouldn`t.......Ok, perhaps, if I lived in some centrañ-asiatic-hellhole, and getting my family to live in Russia/Ukraine was actually an IMPROVEMENT of our situation (and that`s saying something!), I would consider it. Otherwise, not
