  2. @Даниил Васильченко They are nazis. I do not care if they are brave. In WWII there were brave nazis , too. That dosen´t make them good people. Only brave, and daengerous, monsters. And yes, I know that russians are too (they have a huge chunk of nazis and islamists in their armed forces), but the ucranians where suposed to want to become one of us. I don`t want more nazis in the UE. We have already enough..... I just hope the nazis of both sides butcher each other so that common people can sit down and make some reasonable agreement and stop the slaughter..... They are basically fighting to see who will control the huge gas-field in dombass, Gazprom, ore some western cialition of buisness (mostly from USA). This is simply not worth one drop of blood.......

  3. What are they suposed to do, without amunition, food , water and medical supllies? Plus, Rusia and Ukraine, are exchanging POWs, so there is a good chanche for them to join , sooner or later, their own side. Once out of amunition, surrendering was the right choice..... By the way, showing POWs in public media is againts the Geneva convention. I thought that at least the regular russian army would respect this.....

  5. 12:05 Russian propaganda claims that in Mariupol there are hiding active NATO-officers disguised as "advisers", and that the helicopters were ment to evucate them, and deny the russians the propagandistic an political triumph of capturing them.

  6. Is he not, from a legal point of view, to consider as an ucranian POW? I mean, if he joined the ucranian regular military forces, and is subdued to their military laws and chain of comand, and if he was captured as part of a regular force, with the uniform and equipment of ucranian army, he is by all means an ucranian soldier, no matter his nationality, and should benefit form the Geneva-convention-laws. Surely, he will not be exchanged for some russian POWs, because his propaganda-value is too high, but I doubt that they simply throw him into some hole in Siberia and forget him. Not that he will have an easy time, but he is a precious propaganda-piece, and will probably be kept alive and sane.....

The 300 spartans, 700 tespians and an unknown number of ilots (this last had no choice) didn´t just sacifice themselves meneanglesly out of pure will of resistance They covered the retreat of the rest of the army, so they could reach a secure position, and not be exterminated by superior enemy cavalery and light infantery forces in open terrain while retreating. It was a heroic last stand, but it also had sense from a military point of view. The desperate defense of the Azov-regiment has probably more to do with the fact that they know that they will face no mercy if they fall in the hands of chechen forces, or the ones from the Donbass-milita......
