  1. I bought a new car five years ago. Reciently I got to the shop for the cars anual check, and saw the same model at DOUBLE of the price I paid back then. My salary hasn`t doubled in 5 years. Today I could not afford this model, and would have to go for a cheaper one......

  2. My grandparent, with a blue collar job, had a house, a car, holidays and mantained my stay-at-home grandmother and their EIGHT kids at was considered a middle-clas way of life back then......... Today this couldn`t be achieved, even if BOTH parents worked two jobs.....besides, who takes care of the children in such scenario?

I want to drive this car till my retirement and my two dogs die (I use my car to go to work and to go to rural areas with my rescued and problematic dogs, so they can exercise freely) Then I will rely on public transportantion (wich, luckilly, is pretty good in my country), and get a small, already trained dog, with no mentall issues, wich I can exercise in urban parks, and live a modest live. Till some time ago, I planed to retire to a tropical island, but now, I am not sure my budget would allow me to have a comfortable life in the long term. It`s better to play it safe.......
