Lets face it. The bulk of fans of most clasic franchaise (like DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, ect) are straight white men that discovered them in their youth back in the 80s and 90s. WE are the ones that like this products, and have the money and the will to pay for them...... as long as they satisfy our expectations. The industry has just f*ck up, transforming our beloved tales into somenthing we bearly recognize, thinking that we would stay faithfull (because, where else could we go?) AND they could gain "new" public, that have other point of views. And guess what: It didn`t work......
