@grahamt5924 Unlike the brits in Spain, my spanish ancestors, k*lled enough of my american ancestors, to convince the rest of them that learning spanish was a really good idea......... Nice? No!, But in this countrys the lenguage now is SPANISH. Period. So, for a spanish inmigrant it is not necesary to learn another lenguage, because we already speak the same lenguage (the ones that refused to learn it got.......extinct, for whatever reasons), while a british inmigrant in Spain should be advised to learn the native lenguage.......wich is not english........

@grahamt5924 Some of my ancestors are suposed to come, ironically, from England (speaking of medieval times, when UK, nos Spain, didn´t exist)

@Teporame Porque mis antesapados españoles impusieron este idioma a la fuerza a mis antesapados americanos. Quizas no eliminandolos directamente, pero si asegurandose de que si no hablabas español, no pudieras salir de la miseria. Cualquier indigena que no supiera español, estaba indefenso ante cualquiera (indigena o no) que lo supiera y pudiera perdisponer a las autoridades (españolas) a su favor...... Tambien es cierto que saber español no era garantia de nada (anda que no habia españoles en la miseria tambien!), pero si no se mimetizaban con la cultura, la lengua, y la religion del conquistador, directamente no tenia ninguna posibilidad......
