  1. The core of fascist army in Spain were the "african" troops, who, at the time of the uprising were........in Africa (Morocco). With most of the Spanish navy on the side of republican goverment, there was no way the rebels could transport their most effective and expirience troops to the spanish mainland. This was made posible only by german and italian intervention, so yes, forgein intervention changed the course of the war....
