  1. That beeing true, it`s not a bad idea to have individual EU countrys backing the proyect and asking the EU Executive to aprove it. You brits should make the best deal you can get NOW with us (Spain), regarding this issue and the one of Gibraltar, because you can bet that a conservative spanish executive (backed by the far right party of VOX) won`t give you the time of the day, and simply veto ANY deal you propose. You COULD argue, of course, that this would affect deeply 15.000 families in la Linea, and affect a 3% of our GDP (british tourism), but that, is a sacrifice our conservatives are willing to make (they basically don`t give a sh*t about the common people)
