  1. Why bother when the charges are going to be dropped? These police officers are literally asked to risk their lives for nothing. I wouldn`t want this job.

  2.  @Duckling08  SOME people end in this kind of situation only through sheer bad luck. They do all the right things, behave, work hard, abide by the law, and are generaly speaking good people, but get hit hard by life, and are unable to recover. And once you are in the streets, it`s not easy to get back into society...... Think about the veterans, I think I read somewhere that 30% of homeless people in the US are veterans with mental issues do to their service, that failed to reintegrate in civilian life...... Sh*t happens
