Probably Russia was expecting the aproval of the 61 Billion aid package, and has decided to double down and push as hard as possible before the aid arrives in enough quantity to make a difference. Things will settle down once the price for further advances of the russian army increases, and they decide to consolidate and reorganize. Let`s just hope the ukranian side dosen`t organize another "summer offensive", and both sides agree to a truce and peace talks...... Time to stop the slaughter....... Ukraine has done surprisingly well, but even if they COULD defeat Russia militarely (wich I don`t think), are they willing to pay the price? Because the price of prolonging the war could be easely a whole generation of ukranian men erased....... (except the sons of the oligarchs of course, they are safe and sound in Monaco)
