  1. These comparisons are for NEW BATTERIES. When I go to the gas station I get FRESH gasoline every time and consequently I get same miles. 5 years later I’m still putting FRESH gasoline in my tank but those 5 year old batteries are not giving near the same mileage, yet the car must still carry their full weight everywhere.
