  97. I had an interview yesterday for a part-time retail job. They offered $12.50/hr. As I drove to the interview all along the highway are billboards for jobs offering $15-$20/hr. I asked the hiring person how they expect to keep people when the area is being plastered with advertisements for substantially more pay. He said it was out of his hands. He denied they had high turnover and said they had good shift covereage...flat out lies. During the interview he was interupted by a call and I could hear the other side of the conversation. It was an employee asking why there was nobody around in XYZ department, that nobody was working that department. He said he had to check the schedule after my interview. I asked him what days and hours were hardest for him to fill and he said he had good shift coverage and really didn't have any problems filling any particular shift...more lies. The day before the interview I went in and talked to workers and they told me they are desparately in need of help, they can't cover all shifts. My sister applied at Walmart and never got a call, so she went into the store and asked to talk to the manager. The manager hired her on the spot. My sister has not worked outside the home in 25 years. She just wanted a part-time job to get out of the house, they don't need the money. She just wanted to stock shelves and have limited contact with customers. What she found was HIGH turnover (very common for new hires not to show up for work the first day, or within a day or two "their kid is sick") and veteran employees who not only did not assist, but actually worked against her. She received no training. Walmart requires employees to use their own cell phones with a special app to scan items into the system while they are stocking them. One employee was talking on his cell phone on the floor saying n!gger over and over. A customer complained to management and management approached the man to tell him customer complained about his use of n!gger. His response was, "Is this because I'm black?" The customer that complained was black... Nice work environment...she quit after 2 weeks.

  167. I would like to see a video of an attorney talking about dating single moms. I am dating a single mom for the past 5 years. Her only child is a daughter age 13. What gave me pause last year was a neighbor boy we know calling the police on his mother during an argument and making outrageous accusations (he’s autistic). Luckily he didn’t realize what he was saying was easily debunked. That got the wheels turning in my head. I told my gf that I believe her daughter is capable of the same thing (the difference being her daughter is NOT autistic, in fact she’s very smart with her mouth). I expressed concern that if her daughter were to ever call the police during an argument she could ruin her life and/or my life (I was thinking worst case for myself-being accused of inappropriate touching, verbal advances, etc.) My gf thought I was crazy, said her daughter is a good kid (they all say that). Well last night my gf called me at 10pm crying. Her daughter had called the police on her during an argument! The police left and no charges were filed, but now there is that record of a domestic disturbance call and who was involved. I was very relieved I was not around and it was vindication for my worries. I believe that kids are being taught in skool to call the police on their parents if they “feel” threatened in their home. I believe colleges are teaching kids that their parents are the cause of everything wrong with our world today. As a single man with a multi-million net worth and live on my own, I think the risk/reward ratio just went up and it was an eye-opener for everyone, especially the mom. Now no one can poo-poo me about the risk of being involved with a single mom. I’m out!

  234. Up to this week, I thought we would pull through this relatively soon, with good news about hydroxychloroquine coming after this past weekend, but....the average American has been living right on the edge, I don't believe we will pull out of this economically for years. Fed trotted out Bullard with that "Full Throttle" in 4th quarter bull crap. I do believe we could enter massive depression. Even hospitals are cutting pay by 20%, benefits, 401k matches. Even companies have been living on the edge. Silver and gold won't put food on the table, keep the lights on, keep the heat turned on. It's a bad situation. Trump said we can't let the cure be worse than the disease, we need to get out of this quarantine as soon as possible. Instead of 100% quarantined, they should let the younger than 60 with no health issues out first to return to jobs. One major problem is the obesity epidemic has caused massive amounts of underlying health issues for a majority of Americans and Western civilization. Now the fatties are sitting at home watching Netflix. We have lost our way as to what is most important in this world. This situation is making me evaluate my values and what I want to do for the rest of my life. I am quite sick of ineffective government. We would have drug companies in Puerto Rico right now if not for politicians jacking around the tax code. They have endangered the lives and national security of the USA. The CDC was NEVER prepared for this...for f@ck sake, it hasn't even spread to 1% of the population and we need equipment from China and Russia donated?! F@ck YOU CDC and FEMA! F@ck you Bush, Obama, and Trump for allowing the USA to be caught with our pants down. WHERE'S THE F@CKING MASKS 3M??????????? Taiwan worked 24 hours a day installing new lines to manufacture masks and ALL RESIDENTS GET MASKS EVERY WEEK, they have a national distribution and monitoring system to prevent hoarding. The way our government has handled this is despicable . OK...rant over. Have a good day everyone.

  416. Frontline had an excellent program recently about Artificial Intelligence. Companies are on a fast track to eliminate as much man power as possible, to be replaced by computers and robots. If you are in any kind of data entry or analytical job, your days are numbered. In the next 15 years 50% of all jobs will be affected by Artificial Intelligence, to varying degrees. Yesterday I made a call to Aviall (owned by Boeing) as I have done for the last 25 years. I get consumables from them. The guy I have been dealing with in Chicago advised me that I would no longer be able to get quotes or place orders over the phone...everything must be done online. He said they have been working on the transition for months. People need to think about what they do for a living and ask themselves if their company could do the same thing using an online business model. Most companies have websites of course, but now companies want to eliminate people and will be forcing customers to use computers and do more themselves. It’s happening incrementally but once you are woke, you see it all around. Kiosks in fast food, no human checkouts at Home Depot, Aviall. I took a co-worker to the hospital last week and waited around for 5 hours. If you know anyone in healthcare at a hospital, ask them about automation..I was amazed. Many people have memories of being in a hospital, having a nurse check your vitals regularly....now they hook you up to a machine that constantly monitors your vitals, can administer meds, and all with very little human interaction, which frees up that one nurse to attend many more like you. Big changes are here and if you aren’t paying attention, you might wake up without a job very soon. If I was 18 years old, I would head for The Trades...

  934. Why don't you address the gutting of companies by the executive suites of thousands of public companies built and run NOT by those ridiculous executives, but by the toil and sweat of hard workers. The FACT that management salaries, benefits, and perks (corporate jets whisking them on their vacations?!?!) Abbott Labs made Miles White so rich, they bought him a brand new $60M Gulfstream, built him a hangar, and he has a multi-million dollar budget to fly him around IN RETIREMENT. It's OBSCENE what these pricks do. Remember this: MANAGEMENT DOES NOT GIVE TWO SH!TS ABOUT YOU, YOUR FAMILY, OR YOUR FUTURE. As long as business keeps humming along, nobody upsets the apple cart and they get their obscene compensation packages. Mary Barra got a 29% increase in pay and WOULD NOT ANSWER, after being asked TWICE if she thought that was fair in the face of the denying the UAW WORKERS>>>>WORKERS<<<<<<< The ones who make the train go down the track, NOT MARY BARRA or ANY executive suite empty suit. I say GO ALL THE WAY, shut the companies down long term if needed. Leave the executives to sweep the floors...(yeah right). Jim Farley's salary=$21 MILLION PER YEAR, up 21% from his predecessor in 2019. Mary Barra salary=$29 MILLION PER YEAR, up 34% over last 4 years. Carlos Tavares salary=$25 MILLION PER YEAR while the typical Stellantis employee makes $68k. This does not address any preferred stock, stock options, Golden Parachutes, nor their RETIREMENT FUNDS. HOLD THE LINE, be prepared to grind the entire machine to a halt....management will cave because in the end, without workers they don't get their goodies.

1228. There is no interest rate low that is too low. That’s why we learned about negative rates in skool. Fed Chairman Powell said the money qoute: “Perhaps it is time to retire the term ‘unconventional’ when referring to tools that were used in the crisis,” he said. “We know that tools like these are likely to be needed in some form in the future.” The unconventional has become the conventional. We will almost assuredly never return to “normalized” rates of previous decades, barring some breakthrough in technology like the internet in late 1990’s. All that being said, I don’t think we will see a crisis in our lifetimes like the preppers are so hoping for (exchanging my labor for their hoarded toilet paper and a bullet). We will most likely plod along like Japan has for 30 years...This year is their 30 year stock market high anniversary and they still haven’t got back to their old highs. Personal savings rates always increase during/immediately after a crisis, furthering the length and depth of the crisis. This is why confidence in the markets is so critical. If it bleeds it leads, and all those bloody red days throughout much of 2008 put the fear of God in a lot of people. You could not get away from updates on the markets. So...The Fed will do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening again. I believe the real money is in the stock market, although Gold and Silver will climb quite well, but metals don’t pay a dividend and you can’t trust the guy selling you physical Gold isn’t selling you Gold plated tungsten.

1280. That article is behind a paywall, but is 5 years old. As far as poor leaving the church, here’s my take: blame social media, Only Fools, and Online hookup sites (we used to call them dating sites but that has devolved into almost total hookup culture). Poor girls have been groomed from their teens to go from Insta to Only Fools. They have no interest in Church or a relationship with a living God. They’re gods and the Kardashians and Taylor Swift. They worship at the alter of easy money. They are fresh meat on the Insta and OF. As for the young men, they have learned that young women aren’t interested in them unless they are 6 feet, make 6 figures, and you know the rest. All the Match yearly statistics show 80% of the women are chasing the top 20% of men. All of this is to say, family formation has collapsed and that is the basis for Church attendance…families. Church attendance is just a reflection of the degeneracy in society today. The Pope accepts Trans, kisses the Koran. There is no stopping this train. The world is headed for destruction. Deep down you know I’m right, you see it with your own eyes. Something has accelerated and the world will never go back to “wholesome values”. It’s so funny that people suspect there are high powers pulling the strings of our highest elected officials and leaders, Illuminati, free masons, banksters, Bank of England, when the simplest explanation was laid out thousands of years ago… Eph. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. You can avoid the penalty of eternal separation from the God that made us by repenting your sins and accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior, the one who died to take away your debts so that you can have everlasting life. Deny Christ and you will be lost in darkness and unending mental torment. It is the price for sin that must be paid.

1363. Johnathan Myers You are mistaken. Siding with law and order is above all. There is no cognitive dissonance in my mind. I think clearly. Blacks have co-opted George Floyd’s murder to further their racist agenda toward whites. There is no such thing as “white privilege” in the USA. Any black young man or woman who applies themselves in grade skool and high skool is GUARANTEED a FREE RIDE to college. A black engineer and a white engineer equally qualified, applying for the same job, the black engineer will get the job EVERYTIME. A black pilot vs a white pilot? Same results. A black female engineer or pilot...they will CREATE a position to get them on the payroll, all in the name of racial diversity. Any blacks crying racism over George Floyd’s murder, where were you when a black deputy murdered a white man in Dallas in 2015 accompanied by another black deputy and a white deputy? The black deputy murdered Joseph Sheldon Hutcheson using his knee to the neck, Hutcheson barely able to say the words, “I can’t breathe.” Blacks down the street from me wrote that on their car, “I can’t breathe. Please stop killing us. Black lives matter.” Guess what...all lives matter, blacks are no better or more special than any other color. You have ripped off George Floyd’s murder for your own agenda, which for many blacks is reparations and for some it goes to retribution. That brings me back to rule of law. We must have rule of law. We cannot allow thugs using George Floyd’s murder as an excuse for looting, vandalizing, beating, and killing. We can’t let other groups like LGBQT co-opt attention away from George Floyd’s murder. George Floyd’s murder was not a race issue, it was a police brutality issue. It is an issue of broad police powers across our nation, superiors covering for sadists, and police being cozy with DA’s and judges. It took 6 months for the Dallas DA’s office to release the names of the 3 deputies who murdered Joseph Sheldon Hutcheson. To this date no charges have ever been filed and no consequences for the 3 deputies have been administered. So spare me your racist agenda black man.
