  4.  @CheesusCrustus  Agreed, sadly. Of course, there is also the ignorance issue. People buy used or damaged cars and simply don't know enough to know what they're getting into, so they feel screwed even though they weren't really, or at least not necessarily intentionally.

  5. Quick note: 'fast lane' means 'going the speed limit'. The right most lane is for vehicles that can't/won't maintain the speed limit and/or have a trailer. The 'passing lane' varies from state to state and is, frankly, stupid. You still can't legally exceed the speed limit, and 99% of traffic is doing the speed limit or (illegally) 5-10mph over. It's just artificially reducing the size of the highway and slowing traffic.
