Agreed here. Mostly. I'd rather take a proper prescription pill like oxycontin. For me, it's more effective and less likely to cause euphoria. However, with the 'opioid crisis' that the doctors created in the first place it's impossible to get. Kratom is literally the only reason I'm alive.

@33lancco Agreed. OP's point however, is that Joe will sing the praises of marijuana, but goes and decries kratom after one usage. Takes the effort to point out that one can get high on it. Ignores the therapeutic and analgesic properties of it. Thanks to a lot of assholes, and I don't mean the junkies or even the fuckhead rappers, it's essentially impossible for me to get a therapeutic dosage of percocet, and oxycontin is flat out impossible. I'd much rather be on oxycontin. Taken appropriately oxy is non addictive and you will be sober on it. I could be essentially pain free. That's not possible anymore. So I take kratom instead, and if Joe Rogan and others are going to be assholes that's going to get taken away too. Which means I'll die, because kratom is the one and only thing keeping me from killing myself, because the pain is that bad. A lot of people have already killed themselves because their oxy was taken away. I could give two shits about sober. I'd like to live and have a life worth living.

@33lancco Neither is pot and sober or nor depends, as always, on how much you take, tolerance, strain, and pain level.

@doomhead4203 i haven't tried cbg. For myself cbd has no effect and thc usually makes it worse strangely. I've found some new herbals to try like akuamma. I'm excited to try them alone and in combination.

Kratom is the only thing that let's me get through a day, without it I would have killed myself due to the pain. Don't help the DEA schedule 1 something that's saving lives asshole. I mean, it's not like you're smoking all day and being sober

Timothy Coll as with other opiates it depends on your usage. Even if that's true, it doesn't matter. My illness is chronic. It's not going to go away. Which means i need to keep taking it, regardless of addiction or not. I don't take it for fun.

It works on SOME of the same neuroreceptors as opiates but it isn't an opiate. It's related to coffee. For most people the correct dose is 2.5 to 3 grams generally it comes in half gram pills when in pill form, so you should only be taking 5 or 6 pills.
