If the individual civil servants who grant asylum could be held to account for the crimes the people they deem to be suitable for the UK commit, we'd soon have a much better country. Why is it everyone else is liable for the job they do being right but not these civil servants. Someone being granted asylum and them going on to sexusly assault someone and chuck acid over someone is the very definition of getting it wrong. It'be like being asked to replace the engine in someone's car, fitting a fridge to it instead but still getting paid for it and then retiring early on a massive pension. These civil servants need to be held accountable for the total devastation they are responsible for.
