  2.  @glenm2825  My kids' school stayed open throughout and most of the kids who attended were kids of people who were working in a local hospital where COVID was (apparently) rife. The teachers recorded lessons for those kids who did not attend and uploaded them in the evenings. When you add up the hours unpaid work a teacher does the leave doesn't come close to it and that doesn't account for the time they spend in school during that 'leave'. How do I know? I've done it and left, partly because of it! Granted there are plenty of bad apples (activists rather than teachers) but as you have ably demonstrated, you find wankers in all walks of life.
