  1. Labour MPs vote the way they're told because they've never earned so much. There's the problem. Cut individual labour MP's salaries back to what they could realistically earn elsewhere (ie Rayner would be on carer's pay, Lammy and a big chunk of the rest of them on job-seekers allowance, etc) they might put principles before getting their noses in the trough.
