Possibly some truth in that but you've missed the huge impact printing money and giving it to people to do nothing during COVID has had on the economy, not to mention the several millions more people using the NHS (but cost the taxpayer to be here and not paying any tax) since the Brexit vote. I'm happy to see some rational criticism of the pitfalls of the Brexit vote (I never thought it would be plane sailing) but at least try to acknowledge that there are other massive factors that influence the current situation, otherwise you're no better that the more myopic Brexit voters amongst us.
