Given the number of people these days who just seem to collapse at work, it doesn't surprise me that it has happened in a high risk environment. Been happening to driver's, machine operators, sportsmen, TV hosts, I daresay pilots too (but they're never to blame for anything). It was only a matter of time. I can only speculate as to why there's been an increase in these sudden collapses over the last couple of years...

@CrazyGunNoob it won't be the pilots' fault; it never is. The experts will be along shortly to tell you how close to messiah-status the pilots are. First rule of air crash investigation it would seem is to blame anyone but the pilots. A pilot flew his warbird into another warbird recently and the exoneration of the pilot commenced before the wreckage had even hit the ground, despite the obvious poor airmanship.
