  1. Claps don't pay the nurses. No. And tiktok videos don't save patients. I left the public sector for the same reasons. I now have my own business. No one is forcing these people to be nurses. Go and do something else. I did and it is hard work; no holidays, no pension, no sick pay, no uninterruptible breaks, but also no union telling me what I can and cannot do. Striking nurses will do to the NHS what striking car workers did to the car industry. In this respect, if the Tories are trying to privatise healthcare, the nurses, bless 'em, clap clap clap etc, are playing right into their hands. Just a reminder that it is worth looking up what an agency nurse is earning per shift...
