If 30% of Canada's trade is with US but only 3% of US trade is with Canada, for Trudeau to increase Canada's tariffs to the same amount as Trump's, shows a complete lack of understanding of really simple economics of how trade wars work. But then again, I've seen enough of Trudeau over the last few years to realise he hasn't got a clue what he's doing; he just does as he's told.

Money being jizzed all over Ukraine, housing and benefits for ukrainian regugees who have no intention of going back ever, illegal immigrants being housed in four star hotels yet leaky school roofs, long waiting lists, crumbling roads, and most worryingly, dwindingly stocks of munitions, aircraft, tanks snd two carriers we cannot fully crew...

Where the money comes from is irrelevant to the argument. To be fair, it illustrates quite magnificently how little the democrats care about the electorate compare with power over it.
