  2. About time !!! Mars is like an orange !! On the outside it's rough and barren skin ... And to judge the whole of the orange by it's cover, (like a book...) is just a waste of time and completely wrong!! Especially if you haven't yet peeled the orange , to see what is actually inside !!

  7. As an astronomy/cosmology fanatic since before they had even launched V1, it was a letdown!and a disappointing repeat !! Full of nothing but well known and definitely seen before sights !! Glad I ran it at 200% speed ! It was only half the time wasted !!! And I'm pretty sure It was posted long before 2 weeks ago !! If you were a politician I would stop voting for you because you stopped delivering !! So sad ....

  8. I believe that Jupiter keeps Ganymede heated up enough that the core is partly, or maybe fully, molten... Hence the Mag. Field. For one thing there would be almost no night time, or a short one, due to the refection of light and heat from both Jupiter and the Sun, except when Jup. is between the Sun and Gany. Then there's the tidal/gravitational forces of Jup.....

Even though it bares the same name as the Greek god Charon, which is pronounced like Karen {not the nosy beeyatch, 911 detective], but with more emphasis on the -on (Kare-RON), Pluto's moon is pronounced Share-ON, like a frustrated Ozzie Osbourne with diction training.May 1, 2015

  10. Sure we could try to make the owners responsible. But If we can bring the cost of space flight down enough, there may be a potential for Space Salvage, Space Junk Removal and Space Prospecting companies. Particularly if we develop a publicly accessible aspect to new space-based industries, now that it's open to private enterprise.

  12. A long time ago, before I understood the principles of Quantum reality, I read that; "... time was a human construct, and nothing more than a figment of human imagination...." !!!! The writer also explained the concepts of subjective time and objective time, and that neither have any true effect on the universe in general. Once I understood quantum mechanics, I realized that TIME wasn't REAL!! It was intelligence trying to make sense of something that truly wasn't quantifiable !!! And in quantum mechanics it is realized that some things are not observable without a human mind to observe them. And Taoism, (the philosophy I follow) understands that there are some things that will always remain unnameable and unknowable. No matter how hard we try to quantify them, or try to make them REAL!!!
