It's definitely safe to say that not many sources can agree on the exact dates for these 'evolutionary' events. I've heard quite a variety over the last 4 -5 decades..... I really think for the sake of continuity, conjunction and cooperation, that it would be safer, and invoke less criticism to say that a few million years, or so, ago primates started 'evolving' at a steady rate. And then a few hundred thousand years, or so, ago hominids started 'evolving' at a much quicker rate. And then tens of thousands of years ,or so, ago homosapiens sapiens started 'evolving' at a highly increased rate !!! As I understand it ... The rest is moot, for now .....
It became referred to by New Agers, led by the great St. Art Bell, 😁, by the 1990's as, "The Quickening", from his book of the same name.!!! Coast-to-Coast BAAAAAABYYYYYY!!!!!

Too bad there is no way it can be done humanely now because the population is 7.5-ish BIL, people, over their 40 year old estimated limit of 500 MIL sustainable and optimal planet pop. limit. And now that they've waited this long, it will be nearly impossible to destroy so many people in the short frame of time available without a way to dispose of the bodies properly, let alone the manpower to keep up. Or a way that can be selective and quick
enough
I think they need to re-adjust the old minimum/maximum estimates up the scale they're using, or there won't be enough people to keep up with the global, and beyond, operational needs of the infrastructure, etc. !!
Unless they planned to replace the human pop. with synthetics, etc.!! We definitely need space exploration, mining etc. to continue to thrive !! No matter what happens !! I don't expect to live that long ! But, I'm sure most everybody, under a certain age, at least, expects to !! …. Just Sayin'
