  1. Good idea :)) Good Luck on the rental though.. you should sell the house, take a loss. It will be safer and less hassle. Because without , and sometimes even with security the place will be vulnerable to possible natural disaster, catastrophe, etc.Or even hostile takeover !! Due to all the long-term, homeless, "Insane Agro-Squatter Posse's" already on-the-hunt for ANY vacant housing and getting away with it !! I'm still waiting to see if it starts here in Canada !! I'm in between first and second leg of my journey. I was living across the eastern water border from the US, on Lake Ontario. And I got delayed halfway by Covid, the world situation, etc.!! If you can, A.S.A.P. you should do a second leg journey and take your family somewhere remote, if they live in a city now. Just sayin'... At least until we see what the CCP is up to, or maybe sooner.. That's when I head North, from northern Canada !! I'll be waving at the Russians as they come across the pole, if I can't find a place to hide In Greenland !! :))))))))

  4. Its called "Bait & Switch" And ALL commodities are susceptible to that particular consumerism side-effect of GREED!!! That real-estate inflation epidemic, has happened in southern interior, rural BC over the last 25 years !! I saw real estate prices quadruple, sales and rentals, first in the Okanagan '99 - '05, then the Kootenay regions 2007 - 2012 of that province. It was suppose to only happen in cities not towns of a few to tens of thousands of people. I guarantee very few of those people have managed Mortgage Deletion/Burning ceremonies as of yet !! They playing the longest publicly known, gambling game of the 21st century, and it literally began on the eve of "Y2K" !! I believe that, Texas Hold-em Tourneys would be in second place.... :D Just Sayin'
