  1. True that! I now live at the top of Lake Superior. I'd never contemplate living, or even going further north than Churchill, unless I brought 'everything' I needed for the trip with me :)) But definitely living along a VIA Rail route would be the best for sure. :)

  3. I lived in Van From 1994 to 2002 and I got to see the Hoovercraft, :)))) , used for the most important purpose they could ever use it for !!! Removing garbage and other detritus.... :)))) ... from Wreck Beach.... You W.B.P. S.'ers, the " G.V.R.D. gang, and long time users of.. will know what I mean... from 20 to 25 years ago!

  7. Just watched PT. 1 of Rocky Mountaineer Trip. I lived in BC, 2nd time, from 1994, until 2012 and can't believe I knew nothing of this from anyone before. Now I know what to do first ...if I can get back to BC. soon, or at all :(

  8. I'm confused by your references to Saskatch. the northwest corner of that prov. is 100's of Km's from Hudson's Bay :)) Did you mean Nunavut which is above Mani. on the east side of Hud.'s? Just wondering... :)

  13. Lived in that area around Nelson '07 to '12>>>The best place I've lived so far !!! I hope you guys went that way before the fires!! Or at least go through it on a ride through BC, once in yo' life, you wont regret it. Not in summer though ! :(
