The grey wolf is more adopted. Before human hunting it was the most widespread carnivore being all every biome/ climate on earth. They still are extremely widespread just not as many

@tijanamilenkovic3456 what healthy human has muscle mass consisting of 35% of their body weight 😂😂😂😂 thats a twig of a person. A large percentage of the human men population has north of 60%

@Kill, Gore, Trout a powerlifter is infinitely stronger than a kangaroo 😂 But yes I do think a kangaroo would win due to its powerful kick and claws

@Silverfirefly1 Yhhhh this debate is over, I think we both know how it would end if the most physical imposing humans with technical fighting abilities went up against a kangaroo

@Silverfirefly1 how about gym lifter/ professional heavyweight fighter ? Francis ngannou would be humanity's champion to fight and I think he'd have an amazing chance of winning

@ArtyMars there are millions of human men that are way more muscular than a kangaroo could ever be...

@catfreshly4230 exactly

@Silverfirefly1 funny how you think its either one or the other. Not all skilled fighters are scrawny men. There are gaints that are just as skilled in the human race...

@ArtyMars there's literally vids of wild Australian dogs killing adult kangaroos in seconds. The largest grey wolves can single handly kill 1ton bison and adult moose that stand at 7ft at the SHOULDER... Based of the fact much smaller canids easily hunt them a large grey wolf would have a field day😂

@TUNDRA WOLF in water its tricky but on land a strong human and a large powerful dog breed is killing a kangaroo. I've seen vids on YouTube of canids taking down adult roos, so with a human there it would make it a lot easier. The human/ canid hunting party is formidable...

@Jaime L even in this video it says the kangaroo usually dies aswell when trying to drown a dog. With a human it can't win. It can't watch its rear and front at the same time. It's an easy W for the canid and human duo

If your definition of larger is purely weight then yes spotted hyenas are larger than wolves. However if your definition of larger is dimensions too then the largest grey wolf subspecies (McKenzie wolf) dwarfs the hyena. Infact the McKenzie wolf is taller than a lioness at the shoulder and has a body length within the range of a lioness. The weight is pretty low compared to its height but that's the McKenzie wolf adoption, there was a wolf that was around literally a century ago but was wiped out by humans. "The kenai wolf." This grey wolf subspecies would've dwarfed the hyena is height and length, and surpassed it in terms of average weight sitting comfortably at 91kg!!!! Again that isnt some ancient species, they survived all the way into the Morden era but humans 100 years ago took em out
