This is an awesome review for Siennas. I’ve been binge watching and loving every bit of it. I just wish I’m not dreaming and this is all real!

Just inspect well before buying. This is still the best van out there in the automotive market. Toyota Sienna problems are more like 1st world problems 🙂.

Hi James, I think there is a difference between anecdotal experience and statistical experience. Your experience is based on 5 vans. CCN’s experience is based on hundreds/thousands of vans day in and day out. Which one is statistically significant? I think failure points should be analyzed based on statistically significant data. Parts Manufacturers usually already have an estimated failure rate in components that’s expected. It may not always be 100% due to variations in production batches.

Contact Jennifer from Wolverine Toyota, she is great if you want to buy extended warranty. Toyotanation forum members love her for the best deals.

If a car is neglected, it will turn out to be a nightmare even if it is a Toyota. The nightmares described are things to check out on a used car before buying so we don’t buy a neglected one. Toyota still has the highest reliability in the minivan segment.

Dodge the Dodge 🤣 - just kidding. To make a fair apples to apples comparison, we need a similar video from a Dodge Master Diagnostic Technician.

Hi brother! If the Sienna sliding door buttons stop working, can we live with manual sliding door?

@TheCarCareNut Yes, the one on the overhead console or key fob.

@TheCarCareNut That worked! Thanks! I must have pushed the lowerswitch to off position. After putting it in on, the buttons work. It’s a 2012 that I got from my neighbor for few days and he trying to sell it. It has 136K miles. The power locks went out in my 2012 Camry and I’m able to live with it. Is the same manual usage possible in Sienna when the power buttons eventually stop working?

@TheCarCareNut Thank you brother. Much appreciated.

If it was about Chrysler, this video would have taken 4 more hours 😂. I just watched about Gen 3 Hemi’s camshaft and lifter failures in Uncle Tony’s Garage channel. A great unbiased review from a Mopar guy. Thanks to him for destroying my lust for Dodge Chargers!

HAHA! I want a Miata convertible but wife wants a Sienna 😟. I can only afford one.
