  3.  @TylerSmithMusic1  That has no nothing to do with the age of the weapons The last LGM-30 was produced in 1978. Thats over 45 years ago The US military erred by retiring the newer LGM-118 as the LGM-30 was cheaper and now that has come back to bit them in the ass

The point of having credible strategic deterrent shows the enemy that if they attack, they will take serious damage in the process or it would be mutual assured destruction If Ukraine was still in possession of its nuclear arsenal, Russia would have never attacked. Moscow is only 500 miles away from Kyiv. There is no way they could prevent Ukraine from launching a nuclear strike against Moscow so Russia woulnt have taken the risk
