Emphasis on detonated so yes it does have warhead The JASSM series and ARRW are both made by Lockheed so reusing the JASSM's WDU-42/B penetrator for ARRW is smart as well cost effective 1000lbs warhead makes it usable against a wide range of targets but most importantly the combined warhead with the missile's kinetic energy gives a high degree hard-target penetration against hardened targets Case in point, China's DF launchers are protected by hardened shelters and bunkers.
