If they want make this a reality The Quin jet is poor choice There are two other designs at more realistic than the Quin jet The first is the Valkyrie shuttle from Avatar The Valkyrie achieves VTOL with 4 engines The two large Fusion engines would be deleted but final design would be much larger engines in the wings The old TV show Space above and beyond had the ISSCV That design had 6 engines 2 on wings and 4 in back the engines on wings could rotate like the MV-22 nacelles For VTOL there was 2 engines permanently fixed downwards and 2 fixed like a normal jet When VTOL was need, the wing engines would rotate and the downwards would kick in to soften the landing When taking off, the rear engines would power thrust till the wing engines rotated back Like the F-35B, ISSCV could incorporate two lift fans for downwards engines

  2. Its not that simple Look at the F-35B and AV-8B It they achieve VTOL by 4 point system The V-22 would need the same redesign
