No what JDAMS can do is cross off Russian targets whole sale Ukraine is currently limited to munitions with 200-300lbs class warheads JDAMs changes that to 500,1000 and 2000lbs class options Imagine know Ukraine forces dropping 20000lbs accurately , more to point, JDAMS can been launched from 15 miles away accurately

Secondly the JDAM does not require the aircraft to be flying fast. Like all weapons has its both as both high and low altitude capability as well as maximum and minimum require speeds.
