You are correct , it protected crew but the video also shows the deadly accurate fire from the Bradley kept T-90 pinned down The shot placement shows that Bradley was precisely targeting the T-90s commander and gunner sights The impacts from the 25mm HEI likely destroyed or blinded the T-90s sight and since the Bradley was pouring it on, the commander couldnt exit to visually engage the Bradley And eventunally, the tank had to be abandoned
