The simple answer is yes one F-15E with B-61 dialed to up to max yield could wipe out the Japan's strike force in one strike Since Japan sent 6 carriers, again 1 F-15 with 6 GBU-10 2000lbs PAVEWAY LGBs Since GBUs can be precisely targeted, one hit to water line and thats a wrap for Japan carriers F-15E can carry 8 JDAM or PAVEAWAY in 2000lbs range so in addition to carriers, the two remaining bombs could be used on the two battleships that Japan So yes, an F-15 would most definitely change the outcome

The F-15E can carry up to 15 JDAMs in the 500lbs range , however for this The payload would be 8 GBUs in the 2000lbs range which would allow the F-15E to sink all 6 carriers and 2 battleships present at pearl harbor GBUs can be precisely targeted on key locations as well launched from 10 plus miles away so the ships would never know what hit them The 500lbs pounder could do potential sink more ships but the 2000lbs would guarantee all 8 targets would be sunk or out of commission You dont need to destroy the whole fleet, just destroy their most prized ships, the carriers and battleships

@Juan C You dont need nukes. The F-15E can carry eight 2000lbs GBUs One 2000lbs bomb per ship. Thats takes out all 6 carriers and two battleships that Japanese sent Since GBU can be precisely targeted, they can attack the carriers and battleship at their weakest points

@militavia-air-defense-aircraft Waterline is still the best area to target on carriers as the 2000lbs pounder could penetrate both sides of the ship with the blast Now the battleships, yes the rudder would be best target The carrier sides are designed to counter torpedeos not bombs
