  1. The problem with that is the it opens China's coast line to SEAD. The thing people forget about the F-35 is that it can operate effectively in stealth and non stealth. Example the F-35 is designed to use the JSM and JASSM. The J-20 would need to be 400 miles out to deny the F-35 the ability to use the JSM or JASSM, or at 800 miles to stop the F-35 from using the JASSM-ER. China problem is that they lack tankers. So luring the F-35 in close will not work out for them

  2.  @Strangelove101 @ They have the H-6 but too few to make a difference. The Xian 20 would improve their ability but still not enough to compete with the US
