In the pacific, forces need high mobility, The JTLV 10K weight is not exactly idea for high mobility operations as it has to be carried externally by helo or by by LCAC which is time consuming. In a European conflict, the JTLV and its options is perfect. Buggys like this can pave the way for JLTV and HIMARS.   5.  @utoobuser206  The JTLV size can be configured with various type of weapon in dual or tri configurations Example a JTLV with optics, 30mm cannon and quad Javelin launcher too heavy for Humvee but light weight for JTLVs While the CH-53K and CH-47 can internally carry Humvee Smaller specially made like this Quad buggy https://www.army-technology.com/news/rafael-air-deployable-missile-launcher/ takes up less space and allows for more to be carried There is just no niche left for the humvee
