The simple answer is no There are already too much weapons over there Ironically ,its the reason for NATO standard, too many calibers were in use during the WWII by the allies They just need 5.56 and 7.62 for general use , the few calibers for sniper rifles and big 50 Techincally you could simplify things and use 50 for both sniper and HMG Hell I will give you 300.ACC for CQB
