  1. The only difference between the USN FA/XX and USAF PCA/ADF is that the FA/XX needs low speed qualities for carrier operations. Low speed was a bane to the F-14 so the USN not looking to repeat that. There has been a lot of talk about the X-32, X-36 and YF-23 designs being recycled for use as possible 6th gen. They should really go clean sheet vice trying to recycle.
