Why object when nations clearly need protection.

The political fall out for Ecuador is going to massive
21
@KNByam They just lost a massive amount of international trust
16
Once they get an advanced air defense system this conflict will change
13
Israel would still level Iran
13
@trumpforever6706 Actually you are both trolls, LOL First 1600 tanks a year is impossible for one very simple reason Russia's only company for making tanks is Uralvagonzavod and their ouput can barely make T-90 and T-14 as it currently stands
10
What you heard is that political fall out for Ecuador is going to massive for breaching international law Countries may start breaking off all ties with them as well pull business out of that country if they cant respect the sovereignty of embassy's under international law

Funny how Putin can't find anyone to be his cannon fodder

@Alcatraz-UK Yup Ukraine has both models now. The ATACMS can carry submunitions of a single 500lbs warhead For the Kerch bridge, 6 ATACMS with the 500bls warhead will be enough to take it out Ukraine has been successfully destroying air defense equipment in recent months so the Kerch bridge has no protection so its only matter of time now
6
So much for the mighty Russian bear
6
@charlesyang8146 You dont need resources you simply need presence You honestly think that Russia would have attack Ukraine if it was part of NATO South Korea is backed by the US and North Korea backed by China That simply presence keeps things from escalting
4
@Stephen-lx9nm When countries and business start moving out , they will care then
4
Mostly likely Once the house passed the resolution ,they were in the air heading to EU Once Biden signed, in the air towards Ukraine
3
@billyponsonby Apparently they gave Ukraine the export variant of the Storm Shadow which has half the range The Taurus range would open the door for deeper strikes
3
Its called a start, 18 are good for now ,but as more and more crews get trained, Germany can increase the amount. There are 200 tanks in storage or inactive in Europe The Rheinmetall is working as fast as they can to refurbish tanks for Ukraine
3
Its more than that Ukraine has been the trifecta for the US First , Russia has been forced used a lot of its EW capabilities which is huge bonus Second, Ukraine has been steadily shipping capture assets back to the US Lastly, weapons sales and development are through the roof The US couldnt have asked for a better deal
3
Both can be replaced however a new tank crew surviving in Ukraine has very very long odds of surviving to become an experience crew
2
Good deal, They still need at least 82 more though
2
No really The US has over 1100 patriot launchers and over 10,000 missiles have been produced Unlike , NASAMS, IRIS-T and SAMP-T which only exist in limited numbers The US could easily provide Ukraine with 150 units as well 500-600 missiles which would allow Ukraine to have an integrated air defence system (IADS) up and running in a matter of days While Patriots protect major assets, the, NASAMS, IRIS-T and SAMP-T can be moved to the front lines to nix Russian aircraft and missiles Putin's constant missile barge would be nixed and Ukraine would have no fly zone The only missiles left would be hypersonic which for Russian is bad in several ways if any end up intact
2
Ukraine just got ATACMS with max range and F-16s are getting closer to operation Russia is in panic mode right now
2
The IRIS-T is good but they need to look at reality The Skyguard exists in the hundreds but most importantly, its launchers can use either Aspide or the US made RIM-7 100 certain that the Skyguard can be adjuste to use newer radar and targeting systems faster than building new IRIS-T If they focused on getting Skyguard missiles to Ukraine and give them away for missiles to interface with the NASAMS, and IRIS-T this process would be speed up to weeks not months
2
Your democratically elected government was just removed by the military so its hard for anyone to take what the senate says seriouosly
2
The point is that the Houthis were confident that their underground facilities were safe from attack Yet Israel struck one site and the US simultaneously struck 5 But worst for the Houthis is that B-2s came from Australia which despite their blusters, they cant do anything about if the B-2 came from a middle east base, the parrot would already be yapping Lastly, the USAF use of its strategic bombers is nightmareish because of the loads they carry
2
There is no point Ukraine has over 70 launchers able to use the ATACMS while only small and very limited number of aircraft able to the Storm Shadow The Taurus wouldnt help but Germany has 40 M270 in storage that would most definitely help Ukraine Ukraine's problem is that Russian EW has limited the effectiveness of GPS guided munitions Germany could spare 5 Tornado ECR for hunting Russia's EW equipment
2
its simple math Ukraine only needs the F-16s ability to use fully use the AGM-88 Unlike the MIG-29 and Su-27, the F-16 can use the AGM-88 to locate and destroy Russian jammers No jammers , and glide bombs become moot as GPS munitions can strike the bases where Su-34 and Su-30 fly from
2
Simple answer is no
2
@wirasanjaya4517 The other countries shot those missiles down because they didnt want them falling in their territory Iran cant go 1v1 again Israel Israel can fly F-35 through Syria and iraq to strike Tehran directly What can Iran do nada
2
Of course they are afraid The US has over 1100 launchers and over 10,000 missiles have been produced Unlike , NASAMS, IRIS-T and SAMP-T which only exist in limited numbers The US could easily provide Ukraine with 150 units as well 500-600 missiles which would allow Ukraine to have an integrated air defence system (IADS) up and running in a matter of days While Patriot's protect major assets, the, NASAMS, IRIS-T and SAMP-T can be moved to the front lines to nix Russian aircraft and missiles providing ground forces with adequate protection and means to push deeper into Russian held territory. So yes Russia plenty afraid as Patriots would be one of many seismic shift in the war that would be very very bad for them The PAC-3 which allows up 16 missile per launcher is circa 2000, even if it was captured, Russia wouldnt learn anything
1
@scott4766 Nice try but Russia has already stated they are openly afraid of the patriot
1
@sharmana100 Right remember the Russians saying the same thing about javelin and himars
1
@maryanchabursky9148 Replacing tanks is not the issue Russia can scrap its obsolete tanks for the metal to make new ones but experience they cant make
1
@maryanchabursky9148 Thats a simple fact of life Combat losses will always outstrip manufacturing its takes on average 3-6 months to make most pieces of armor.
1
@maryanchabursky9148 The 6 million dollar question is why Russia who developed 3 APS hasnt equipped any to tanks in Ukraine
1

Too late
1
Wagner is PMC,, they are not equipped for full scale conflicts
1
@aditya-ml6km No Ukraine does not have the logistics to support the Abrams The Abrams uses gas turbine engine which requires specialized training The Leopard 2 uses a diesel engine which does not Then it boils down to time The only tanks in Europe are the modernized M1A2 SEP which the US can't provide The older M1A1 are in the US X amount of days moving them from storage to the ship yards, another day or 2 for loading 11 days crossing the pod. Then unload and back to rail from UK to Poland at least between 6 to 8 weeks nominally just to get the M1 to Ukraine hands There are thousands of older model Leopard 2A4 in the EU that could be in Ukraine in as little as 7 days The Leopard 2 is just the right tank
1
Your democratically elected government was just removed Africa is known for coup after coup and other countries wont tolerate it
1
Thats not issue Ukraine only has very very small of aircraft able to use Storm Shadows They have over 70 western launchers able to use ATACMS Germany has 40 M270s in storage that Ukraine could make use of it much faster than trying to adapt the Taurus to an aircraft
1
@bekeneel Combined with Ukraine attacking S-300 and S-400 sites Russian has nothing to stop them
1
Trying annexing more terriority and see how that workds out
1
@pjhgerlach An initial batch was sent with 300 mil package Ukraine has likely gotten more now
1
@NoobGamer-sc9lt They are the ATACMS max range now that will take some stress off ground forces but they need at least 12 F-16 operational to fully take the load of ground forces
1
@David-gy6fv No need for the Patriot to attack when Ukraine has plenty of other weapons to use Russia worry is that the patriots would effectively shutdown their air operations
1
Fatigue not on the menu Ukraine has been the trifecta for the US First , Russia has been forced used a lot of its EW capabilities which is huge bonus Second, Ukraine has been steadily shipping capture assets back to the US Third, weapons sales and development are through the roof The US couldnt have asked for a better deal Russia is boasting about KA-52 performance but also giving the US another bonus The Stryker SHORAD has both Stinger and Hellfire which both have to short range for engage KA-52s Now the US Army is revisiting plans to use the AIM-9X for SHORAD More the point , Ukraine is showing the need mobile air defense units able to engage drones and loitering munitions with 30mm but also engage gunships, cruise missiles and aircraft with missiles The US did develop such asset but it never made to production 3 guess whats getting dusted off
1
Ukraine needs missiles first for the existing batteries, then US needs to send Ukraine at least 15 complete batteries sooner than later Ukraine needs an integrated air defence system (IADS) made up of Patriots, NASAMS and IRIS-T SLM If they had those in the right numbers, they would be able to negate Russia's airpower and missiles completely
1
Germany position is strange but he does have a point, the US does have a massive surplus but what he should be saying is for the US to give Leopard 2 countries M1A1s as replacements for their Leopard 2 given to Ukraine The US has 3000 M1A1/M1A2 in storage 500 for 500 would make sense
1
@@flynnspunks83 That would be false B-2 during normal ops always travel with ASD on and reflectors
1
In a nutshell, yes
