@modogogozilla383 The 35 plus KA-52 that have been blown out of the sky says otherwise The alleged President can't stop MANPADS thats just another fairy tale First its called blind spots and all helicopters have them Secondly MANPADs use IR or Semi-automatic command to line of sight (SACLOS) With SACLOS as someone already mentioned, the operator is literally guiding the missile all the way which depending on range is about 3-5 seconds at most Most IR MANPADS are all aspect ding dong that means they dont rely solely on targeting the exhaust, they can target any part of the helicopter
