  1.  @princecharles6541  Wrong Ukraine got 8000 Javelins, The total production of Javelin so far is 50,000 miles world wide Lockheed has revamped production back to 4000 missiles per year which them replacing what the US military give Ukraine as well as some missile for Ukraine The key reason Ukraine needs so much Javelin and why the US has no problem giving them to Ukraine in bulk is that Javelin is not the US only option When it comes to shredding armor. the starting line up for the US are Abrams ,Apache, Cobra and , A-10 second string F-15E, F-16 and F-18 with CBU-87/105s 3rd string B-52 and B-1 doing roll thunder with 500lbs GBUs Ukraine doesn have of these options hence why they need so much ATGMS

  3.  @princecharles6541  Its questionable if Ukraine only had ATGMS but the addition of Storm Shadow makes it very much sustainable The fact that US is consider CBU and DCPIM shows that US knows Ukraine needs a more effective means to deal with Russian numbers

  4.  @princecharles6541  The reason why Ukraine is using so much ATGM is they dont have options hence why the US is considering CBU and DCPIMs to give Ukraine ability to take on Russian forces en masse As for taking on Russia they dont need much First they need integrated air defence system (IADS) to counter Russian aircraft and missiles 100 Patriot batteries would cover that They also need an 100 Gepard and 250 Avenger ADS. The KA-52 attacks has exposed that MANPAD range is inadequate so they need SHORAD with 10 to 20 mile range The West would do Ukraine a solid if they dusted off SLAMRAAM (Surface Launched AMRAAM) and Complementary Low-Altitude Weapon System (CLAWS) which HUMVEES carrying AIM-120s Secondly the Black Sea Fleet has operated with near impunity as the Ukraine can't attack them effectively The AGM-84L can be launched 170 miles away. Fitted to Su-24 , it would Ukraine the means to attack As mentioned before Ukraine is using a lot of ATGM because they cant take out Russian armor en masse CBUs and DPCIMs would address that issue
