@simon3225 Point 009 only shows the missile not the launcher Secondly using YT settings and slowing the video down to .025 of normal speed Thats not a Javelin nor NLAW YT The moment of the hit from the ATGM in Russian Tank T72B At 127 and freeze , you can see the missile clearly Judging by that design, it looks like 9K111 Fagot, 9M14 Malyukta , 9M113 Konkurs or 9K115 Metis Given that the 4 of them armor have very low armor penetration values and Ukraine would still be using the older models its very likely its one of these and fits as T-72B armor is 900mm and best they do is up 460mm hence why the tank shrugged it off so easily

The West has ample weapons for shredding armor. Ukraine only has fraction of them Secondly, its hard to make such a claim without know what weapon was used Lastly , ATGM penetrations values vary some as low as 400mm while others as high 900mm Again without seeing what was used, can't make that claim The US for example coined the term tank plinking which was them dropping laser guided bombs on tanks Simple but brutally effective tactic that's very much in use by the US military 1 its complete asset denial as there nothing let to salvage 2 its complete lost of the crew as no one is surviving if they are in or near the tank 3 its completely demoralizing to the enemy seeing nothing left of the tank or crew

@ligmasurvivor5600 its not about the ERA its about the missile that was used

Its survived buts thats Ukraine who has limited capabilites The US for example coined the term tank plinking which was them dropping 500lbs laser guided bombs on tanks Simple but brutally effective tactic that's very much in use by the US military

@ElPalcoTigreHermano Even if the Russian tanks were surviving Javelins, it still does not change the abacus For Ukraine , the ATGMs are their own only option against tanks The US for example has several methods from simple to brutal The simple method is AGM-114s and AGM-179s from AH-64 and AH-1Z Also simple 155mm Excalibur EST/S rounds The AGM-65 again very simple means Now if the US wants to go brutal They coined the term Tank Plinking in the 1991 where they were dropping 500lbs laser guided bombs on Iraqi tanks Simple but brutally effective tactic that's very much in use by the US military Ukraine may not have options but they do have enough weapons to double tap Ukraine's problem is they haven't quite broke their bad habits yet
