  7.  @johnnysgaminglab2126  yes, countries have, like Spain did in the sixteenth century, but I can't imagine Spain doing that now. Russia and Serbia haven't evolved though. Russians have no idea about recycling and green issues, they don't understand human rights, they seem to live in a bygone age. It's actually a bit sad.

  10. Merkel is probably trying to save face, but if that is not the case then Russia also needed time to prepare, and by the look of things needed more time than it gave itself.

  11.  @tutifruti7488  thanks for that. Let's all watch state controlled russian propaganda shows. I counted five running simultaneously on russian TV last night. Saturation and exclusion of all other naratives; the two musts for propaganda to work. There are a range of views in the west, which russian state TV exploits. Ticker Carlson of fox news is always on here.

  14. The US does the donkey work on military security because many European countries are happy to save money on defense. It is in fact selfish of them to do that.
